Shubhendu Sharma, an experienced industrial engineer turned eco-entrepreneur, is the Founder & Director of Afforestt, a company which creates urban forests.
This journey started when Sharma volunteered to assist Dr. Akira Miyawaki, to cultivate a forest at the Toyota plant.
Using the unique Miyawaki Method to grow saplings, Afforestt converts any land into a self-sustainable forest in a couple of years. They have successfully created 72 forests in 6 years.
On 27th August 2017, he presented Enviro Creators Foundation’s 1st Prize for Best Forest to Pal Miyawaki Forest
